This informative session will cover the topics below that have been specifically designed for Water Agency customers.

SCE Rates

Energy costs impact your business, so the more you know about rates and how rates work, the more control you will have over your energy costs. This course is designed to explain rate structure, rate options, and cost saving techniques that can help customers improve energy efficiency and lower their energy costs.

Demand Response

Did you know SCE offers programs that can help you save money all while making our electrical grid more reliable? SCE’s Demand Response (“DR”) programs offer incentives for reducing your electricity use when the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) issues an alert, warning, or emergency. During these periods, we may call a DR “event” and you’ll be asked or remotely signaled to reduce your energy usage. The Agricultural and Pumping Interruptible (AP-I) and Emergency Load Reduction Program are two DR options that could work for your business.

Solar, Batteries, and other Distributed Energy Resources

Are you interested in generating your own power? Learn how you can benefit from self-generation, making use of special rates and incentive programs. This session will concentrate on solar and batteries (including various operating strategies), but will also touch on other distributed energy resources, and provide useful information when you are considering these technologies.
